This accordion-fold book juxtaposes a joy-filled wedding photo with a self-portrait taken as a recent widow. As one moves toward the right, the image of grief is revealed. Viewed from the center, the images align in an uncanny way - a metaphor for the understanding that great loss is part of the package of having a great love.
